A lot has happened since I last posted, but I will keep things brief rather than end up writing a novel. The doctors have decided that I am too ill to have a transplant as they say the operation itself will kill me, and I only have 10% chance of surviving it. So it looks like I shall be on oxygen till I die now.
In March 2012 I discovered I had a lump in my left breast and I have breast cancer but again I can't be operated on due to the risks of dying while on the ventilator.
Without treatment I was given 1-2 years and its been a year nearly. I am on Drugs but some days I think why bother living, I am miserable with Brian, I feel like I am excisting not living and that leads me to not wanting to take my tablets.
Then my close friend Julia Bye died in Dec 2012 and I miss her so much, she beat breast cancer only to get cancer again which spread very quickly.
Kim took Kyle on full time and now has Spike on full loan though I only charge her part loan to cover the livery. She is so untidy but I bite my lip and ignore the mess lol. Kim looks after the horses well which is more important.
Was meant to have a field shelter delivered today (Sat 9th Feb) but it never arrived so after many phone calls I finally got a reply and hopefully the shelter should arrive next Sunday. (17th)
I became a Nanna on 19th January, two days after my birthday ... darn...
Amelia Grace Emmerson, weighed 8.03lbs and was born at 8.56am after a 24hr labour. Needed forceps and was 2 weeks over due. She is beautiful.. I'll try to add a photo later.
Been spending more time in Newcastle which is great and due to go back up on the 22nd or 23rd for a week.
Me well things are not good, as soon as I try to do anything I get out of breath and get pains in my chest. I found out why yesterday (Fri 8th Feb). I went to the hospital for a CT scan and they discovered I had air inbetween my lung and my wall cavity adn they were gonna keep me in and fit a drain which I did not want as that means being kept in. I had the dogs at home to see to, had a meal to go to with the Colorado Posse and the shelter coming next morning though we know what happened with that.
The doctor allowed me home and I am to get a doctors appointment to see Dr Jeffry as to what to do. I REALLY DON'T want to go into hospital.
On a positive note I now have a new electric wheelchair, I bigger better scooter and hopefully get organised to get a WAV car.
My Meriva someone hit the side of it during the night and damaged two doors so bang goes my clean no claims with them. Grr... I am annoyed at that as I have to pay the access for something I never done as the car was parked up overnight. Grrr......
